Nasogastric (NG) tubes
A nasogastric (NG) tube is a thin tube that goes in through patient nose and down patient throat into the stomach. Patient might have this if they need feeding for 2 ~ 4 weeks.
Enteral nutrition
means the patient have a liquid feed through a tube into the stomach or small bowel.They might need to take all the food and drink this way. Or the patient may take some food by eating normally, and then have the rest as a liquid through the tube.

• They have swallowing problems
